The Remedy

What is it about a pile of emotions?

Like layers of cake outside the bakery,

all decorated and colorful.

Or is it?

Simply a pile of unwanted junk

needing its own remedy,

A taste of liquor and coke.

A remedy, that only provides

a few hours of unwanted baggage

filled with blackouts

for a brief period of time.

The remedy in full swing takes up my whole body,

entering a new realm.

A realm I've entered two years ago.

Never did I look back to it.

Till the day when my pile of emotions

struck me again in full swing,

like a lightning strike on a stormy day.
